The Writer's Spellbook: Creating Magic Systems for Fantasy

A talk on the importance of consistency in creating a magic system and demonstration on how to do so. The elements of a magic system include the source, the method of access, the purpose, and the creation of talismans or amulets. There will be examples from welll-known fantasy novels/series.
